It was really exciting...seeing them win the ACC Championship and in the Orange Bowl. We got to see most of their games, if I couldn't get it locally we'd go somewhere to watch the game or get it on pay-per-view.
On getting a football scholarship
It's surreal just so exciting, when you just asked me that I got goosebumps.
On how a guy from Texas ended up choosing Wake Forest
The academics were great, I loved the coaches, the small school environment was a plus, the guys were awesome, and I have some family out in Ohio.
