"So far I think we are playing real good," said Parks. "It's great to be back on the field playing games. Even though we lost to Davie, that game showed us some things we need to work on and get better at. They got on us early and took us out of our game plan a bit."
Speaking of getting better, Parks is really concentrating on one part of his game. "I am working on my speed a lot. I am doing SPARQ training as well as working out in training shoes and running a lot of hills. I am determined to get faster."
As far as recruiting goes, Parks has a visit lined up this weekend. "N.C. State invited me to their home opener next weekend and I plan on being there. I am still wide open right now and I just want to see what is out there."
So far for the season, Parks has 37 carries for 267 yards and 4 touchdowns.
