"I just felt that with the offense and the coaching staff it was a good fit," Tommy Bohanon said. "I talked to Coach Russ and told him at about 5:30. He was really excited that I wanted to go to Wake Forest."
At 6'1 and 240 pounds, Bohanon has a college-ready build and brings a lot of physicality each and every week. He should be a step ahead of many
other members of Wake Forest's class of 2009 when his freshmen year rolls around.
"I'm going to be graduating early so I'll be there for the spring," he said. "They said it was really up to me as to whether I would redshirt
or not. Once I get up there, since I'll be there early, I'm sure they'll get me to whatever (weight) they want me to be at."
Bohanon received offers from Syracuse, Michigan State, Louisville, Central Florida and Florida Atlantic before committing to the Demon Deacons.
Bohanon is Wake Forest's 10th verbal commitment from the class of 2009 and the Demon Deacons' 4th from the state of Florida.
