Jackson Likes Wake

Will Jackson

One of the top offensive line prospects in the country is Will Jackson from Farragut High School in Tennessee. The 6'4, 280 pound prospect from Knoxville is beginning to narrow down his list. Jackson recently shared his thoughts about Wake Forest and where the Demon Deacons stand with him.

Will Jackson has no shortage of options when it comes to playing college ball. Jackson, who has a double digit offer sheet, has been able to narrow it down to seven schools and plans to trim his list even further next month.

"The process has been a bit hectic but I am starting to narrow things down," said Jackson. "I have it down to seven schools right now and after I visit Stanford and West Virginia I plan on cutting my list down even more. I just want to visit the schools that have offered me and give them all a fair shot."

Jackson visited Wake Forest recently and came away very impressed. "I really liked what I saw at Wake. It is the nicest campus I have visited yet. Also, I enjoyed talking with Coach Lobo and I like the new wide open offense they are going to run. Also, it was great to speak with Coach Grobe. He was a very genuine and honest guy. You would be hard pressed to find a school that has a better blend of academics and football success."

Current Demon Deacon Michael Hoag is a alumni of Farragut High School and has been telling Jackson a lot about Wake. "I have talked with Michael quite a bit this summer. He has had nothing but great things to say about his time at Wake and I am sure he would like me to come there but he also tells me I have to do what is best for me. Michael has been kind of a big brother type for me and I wouldn't mind playing with him in college."

Jackson also said Wake is on his list of seven right now and he plans on making a decision in July. He plans on visiting West Virginia, Stanford, and Auburn as well as making return trips to Ole Miss and Georgia Tech.
