Love arrived in town on Friday night and headed over to campus early on Saturday. "We met the coaches and got a tour of the facilities and they told us about the football and academic part of the university. I had already met most of the coaches but I got to meet Coach Grobe personally. I was with Coach Lambert the entire time I was there."
Love, who visited Wake Forest without a D-I offer, earned his first this past weekend as the Demon Deacon football staff informed him that he had a full ride to play football at Wake Forest. "Coach Lambert took me to Coach Grobe's room and told Coach Grobe that they just offered me," Love said. "I was stunned. It makes me feel really good that I was able to get an offer. I was kind of getting discouraged because I didn't get an offer from anyone yet but I guess it really worked out."
"The first time I went down I fell in love with it," he continued. "It was my #1 off the bat before this past weekend. They were my #1 and they were the first to offer so things look good there."
Although Love holds Wake Forest as his favorite, he does plan to take a few months to mull over his recruitment before making a decision. "I'm probably going to commit this summer," he said. "I want to get it over with and know where I'm going and not stress myself out so I can just have fun for my senior year."
Among the schools that Love will evaluate before deciding are Notre Dame, Rutgers, UConn, Penn State, Louisville, and Pittsburgh, all schools that are showing heavy interest in the 6', 185-pound athlete. "Louisville actually wrote me a note saying they will offer, they just need to look at my film," said Love.
