Justice is the first Deacon named to the AP All-America first team since punter Ryan Plackemeier in 2005.
Justice has now been named a first team All-America by Associated Press, the American Football Coaches Association and CBSSports.Com. He was a second team All-America on the Walter Camp team.
Smith earned second team honors from Walter Camp and now third team from AP.
Justice, a 6-4, 284-pound redshirt senior from Port Orange, Fla. (New Smyrna Beach) received the Atlantic Coast Conference’s prestigious Jacobs Blocking Trophy awarded annually to the conference’s top lineman. Justice is a two-time All-ACC pick at center and was the runner-up for the Rimington Trophy this season.
Smith is tied for the national lead with eight interceptions. He and teammate Aaron Curry lead the nation with three interception returns for touchdowns this season. Smith, a 5-9, 191-pound redshirt junior from Pahokee, Fla. intercepted four passes in his last two games.
