This summer, Bush visited Wake Forest's camp and the Deacons quickly jumped on the opportunity to offer him a scholarship. Bush was enamored with the Demon Deacon program and has visited Wake Forest for each of their home games this season. After the Deacs defeated a ranked Boston College team, Bush committed to Wake Forest.
"I committed at the Boston College game," Bush said. "It's a great family up there and the atmosphere was really great. Visiting up there, it was where I wanted to be and I knew it just felt right for me."
Bush, who measures 6', 192-pounds and runs a 4.45 forty, is recruited to Wake Forest to play in their secondary at cornerback. "I don't know much about how I fit in just yet, but I'll do what I need to come in and help out any way I can," he noted.
Although eliminated from the playoffs this past week, Bush will continue to work hard to prepare himself for the next level. "Right now, the things I do well I think would be being physical with the receivers and bump and run. I would say that I will be working on my hips and footwork."
Bush, amassed six interceptions this season, was also recruited by East Carolina, Appalachian State, North Carolina, and James Madison before committing to Wake Forest. JMU also offered Bush.
