Hudson Joins Wake Visit List

Hudson Joins Wake Visit List

This weekend will be the biggest recruiting weekend of the year for the Demon Deacon basketball staff as they will host at least four players in Scout.com's Top 100 for visits. DeaconSports caught up with the 51st ranked player in the country to discuss his plans.

It's going to be a big a weekend for the Wake Forest basketball team as they welcome Jeff Teague, James Johnson and Chris Wright to campus.

But the list doesn't stop there, as Dorenzo Hudson is scheduled to be in Winston-Salem this weekend as well.

"I'm going to Clemson tomorrow and Wake Forest on Saturday," Hudson said Wednesday evening.

"They kind of came in late to the picture," he said about Wake Forest. "But they have a good system and I'm going to check out some film and see what they are trying to do."

Hudson said that Wake Forest, Clemson, Miami, Boston College and Oklahoma were the schools showing him the most interest. He also mentioned the Tigers have been on him as long as anyone.

"They've been on me hard since day one," he said about Clemson. "I have to at least go out there and check them out."

Both of his visits this weekend will be unofficial visits. And don't expect a commitment from Hudson on either campus as he doesn't have intentions of coming to a decision soon.

"I'm going to wait it out. I'm not trying to rush into a decision."
