The University of Miami Men's Basketball team came up with its biggest win of the season -- and perhaps the biggest in school history -- by defeating Duke by the score of 90-63.

The Hurricanes entered this game with an 0-6 career record against number one-ranked teams. The 25th-ranked Hurricanes were outstanding in this game, from start to finish.

In front of a sold out crowd that featured some of the nation's top football recruits that Al Golden and his staff are trying to sign in a couple weeks, the Canes improved to 14-3 on the season and 5-0 in the conference.

The Hurricanes went on a 25-1 run at one point in this game, and took a 23-point lead into halftime. They continued playing well throughout the second half, preventing the visiting Blue Devils from ever getting even close.

Miami star Reggie Johnson returned to the floor after missing the last several games due to injury. He scored two points and grabbed five rebounds in 16 minutes of action.

Durand Scott (25 points) and Kenny Kadji (22) were the top scorers for the Hurricanes in this game. Shane Larkin and Julian Gamble each grabbed 10 boards for Miami. Fifth starter Trey McKinnie-Jones also scored 10 points.

Rasheed Sulaimon led Duke with 16 points, while Mason Plumlee grabbed 11 boards in a losing effort for the top-ranked Blue Devils.

With the win, the Hurricanes remain the best team in the ACC and will likely appear in the Top 20 with the next poll release.

The team will stay home and host arch-rival Florida State on Sunday.
