Deacon Spotlight: Kevin Johnson

After a season on the sidelines, Kevin Johnson, a sophomore cornerback for the Deacs, will return to the field in the 2012 season. The Clarskville, Maryland native discussed how he's watched his team develop and more.

"It was hard to go from playing freshman year to being red-shirted the next year," Johnson said of being academically ineligible to play as a sophomore. "It was tough watching all my guys working hard out there with the rest of the team. It was hard watching them play and not being able to help them out," he added.
