Why Wake Forest: "They offered great athletics and academics, but also a chance to win. I didn't want to go to a school and be at the bottom of the barrel with no chance of winning. Coach Grobe has proved he can win. I think they're on the rise. Also, Daniel Mack, a former teammate of mine, is there. He has been a good friend and mentor to me since my freshman year."

Strengths/Improvements: "Making sure I'm turning my hips, making sure they're flexible and improving my speed. Once I get to college I know the level of the game changes."

Mike Sonneborn (Dade Christian School): "I think he'll see early playing time [at Wake Forest] because of this football I.Q. and his athleticism. He'll pick up the coaching strategies fast. He's intelligent, maintenance-free, and always prepared. Ryan's a very easy player to coach." Recommended Stories
