While the offense at Armwood High School gets many of the headlines averaging 39.4 points-per-game, the defense only allowed a shade less than 10 points-per-game. A big part of the defense's success has come from Shelldon Lewinson, a 6-foot-2, 240-pound nose guard who has been committed to Wake Forest since July.

"I feel like I've played well this season," said Shelldon Lewinson, "but it's my teammates who made me better. We play a three-four defense. Allen Covington, Lonzel Davis and myself are up front.
