Coach Spotlight: Joshua Wilhite

After a promising sophomore campain at L.V. Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas, running back Joshua Wilhite had dreamed of rushing for 2,000 yards as a junior. Those dreams were put on hold due to a early season knee injury. Now a senior at Fort Bend Hightower, Head Coach Barry Abercrombie thinks Wilhite is back on track to fulfilling his early promise.

"As a sophomore he rushed for over 400 yards in a season we went 11-1," said Abercromibe. "It was two games into his junior year in a game against The Woodlands where he tore his ACL causing him to miss the season.
