A quick look into Wake Forest's 2011 football team.

Last season's record: 3-9, 1-7 ACC

Returning starters/lettermen: 17 starters, 54 lettermen

Key losses: S Alex Frye, RB Josh Adams, WR Marshall Williams, WR Devon Brown, OL Russell Nenon

Key returnees: LB Kyle Wilber, RB Josh Harris, OL Joe Looney, S Cyhl Quarles, QB Tanner Price, WR Chris Givens

Best game: 11/5 vs Notre Dame

Projected finish: 5-7, 3-5

Outlook: The 2011 Demon Deacons look to rebound from one of the toughest seasons in the Jim Grobe era. With a difficult schedule ahead, Wake Forest needs quarterback Tanner Price must step up and lead an offense that returns a seasoned offensive line. Defensively, All-ACC performer Kyle Wilber returns to a squad that was burned in 2010 but will move to linebacker as the Demon Deacons make the transition to a 3-4 defense. Expect WFU to be improved over 2010 but it could still be a difficult season for the Demon Deacons.
